We had a good weekend in Puyallup last month with Albus earning 8 of the 15 points needed to become a champion and his mother, Olive, earning two more majors toward her GCH. She now needs just a few single points to become a Grand Champion.
Since then, we’ve been patiently waiting to share news about upcoming litters. Hanne and Roux have both been showing signs that they will be ready to breed soon and I hope to announce that litters are on the way in the coming weeks.
Our whelping box will be a busy place this spring. I’m also planning to breed “Roux”, CH Bayou Oaks First You Make A Roux, to BIS CH Bayou Oaks English Leather. This very special breeding was the direction given to me by my dear friend and mentor, Alyce Gilmore (Bayou Oaks Beagles) who died in 2019. It will be the final Bayou Oaks litter and I’m grateful to our good friend, Laura Hiatt (Matador Beagles) for helping to facilitate this breeding.
I don’t keep a waiting list for puppies. If you’re interested in a pet, please wait until after the puppies have arrived and an application is posted on the “Puppies” page of my web site. If you’re a breeder and you’re interested in one of these litters, please contact me by PM.
