Planning For 2021 Litters

In May of 2020, Roux and Hanne presented me with two litters, just days apart, and it seems that these two best friends have conspired to do the same in June of 2021. Last week, Roux came in season and she is now on the east coast for a romantic interlude. I had several thoughts in mind for Hanne but, for a variety of reasons, I chose to keep her at home this time and breed her to Albus, Talbot Hill Dukeang The Gilded Sage…

This breeding combines two of my favorite beagles: Albus’ sire, BISS GCHB Meadow Crest Just Call Me Sir (2013 NBC Select Dog) and Hanne’s sire BIS/BISS CH Talbot Hill’s Thyme After Time (2010 NBC Select Dog)…and, it’s a linebreeding on 13″ GCH/Can CH Kinsglo Road To Rhode Island, a stud dog that has contributed significantly toward my breeding goals.

I’ll have more to say about Roux’s breeding in a future post. Neither breeding has occurred yet but the timing suggests two litters arriving in early June with puppies ready for new homes in August. I’ll be in touch with those on the waiting list soon and may accept applications for a brief period in May when I know that both girls have conceived. I am not adding to the waiting list at this time with approximately ten puppies expected and twenty-five families on the waiting list.

Parents-To-Be: Talbot Hill Dukeang The Gilded Sage “Albus”, CH Bayou Oaks First You Make A Roux, “Roux”, and
CH Talbot Hill Dukeang Thyme Signature, “Hanne”

  3. Very exciting! I was wondering, since we put in an application last time, does that mean we would be on the waiting list this time round? Or would we need to put in another?

    Hopefully good news soon!
