I’ve had several inquiries about Galileo since my last post so I wanted to share a quick update about my current plans for him…
For now, Galileo will remain with me. He’s going through an awkward growth phase and is not ready for the show ring but I suspect he will outgrow this phase with time. Many of the qualities that I had hoped to gain from this breeding are found in this puppy and I hope to use him for breeding in the future. With that said, he also has a great attention and desire to please and he will likely stay under a 14″ wicket so as I hinted in my previous post, I see him as a great prospect for an established agility home…preferably in western Washington. Galileo’s “meant to be” home will come along one day but for now, Talbot Hill is where he is meant to be.
Galileo’s dam, Roux, is in season right now and will not be bred this time for an early 2022 litter. Hanne has not yet come in season but the two girls generally do everything together so I anticipate that may happen soon. I don’t know if I will breed Hanne this time or if I will wait for her next season. Any announcements about 2022 litters will be made in my blog and in the Talbot Hill Beagles Facebook group.
Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone! I am particularly grateful for all of the wonderful families that my beagles have introduced me to. I hope that you all have a wonderful holiday with family and friends…and…if there’s a Talbot Hill beagle in your life, please give it a big hug and kiss from us!
